path leading to the garden gate...

  • One Private Fenced Garden. (untended and unused for a few years)
  • Two Great Owners looking to utilise it better for more charitable purposes.
  • One great lady who brings a great idea to Future Champions.
  • One great idea: To use the garden as a  tool for local children who do not have access to a garden to learn about flowers, grass, trees, organic veg, herbs, designing a garden, the seasons and for them to gain confidence, discipline, a sense of pride and knowledge to transfer back to their communities.
  • That one great lady becomes the Project Coordinator
  • One great guy: Arborist who comes down to help us detangle the jungle
  • A couple more great guys: helping with garden design
  • Another great lady: who knows a thing or two about herbs and veggie smoothies.
  • A bunch of great youngsters who are raring to go and turn the forest into a garden designed by them, in a year.
  • A video camera to record it all.
This is the City Garden Project.  Tooting Broadway S.E. London.
